"TC58C NOT WITHIN MARKED SPAC"

Ticket issued by the San Francisco Department of Parking and Traffic
on the date of 10/19/2010

There's a little irony here.  My alleged parking infraction, doesn't even fit within the confines of the ticket itself.
Aside from that, there is little that amuses me about this ticket.  I wasn't fortunate enough to catch the Meter-Maid in the act, so I'll have to fight the ticket the bureaucratic way.  My first course of action was to find some explanation behind this.  Even the slightest reasoning behind this would cool my anger.
The only information I could gather was a chart of fines and fees, on http://www.sfmta.com/cms/cmta/SFMTABoardFebruary62007ratehearingnotice.htm
This did little to ease my tension because in just a few years, the fine had risen from $35 to $50.

...

more to come as it develops

  1. I just got the same ticket tonight!

I was in a legal metered spot and my car must have been slightly outside the grid lines

Did you dispute your ticket and if so were you successful?
